About
From an early age Basti has had an interest in helping people. In 2001, having already received many different treatments Basti decided to begin his journey in Reiki, in 2004 he was steered towards Shiatsu and found it developed the range and communication of his therapeutic touch.
He graduated as a professional practitioner with the Shiatsu College Norwich and has been practising in North Norfolk since 2007. He's also been teaching at the Norwich and London branches of the Shiatsu College since 2014.
Basti says:
"I appreciate working with many different people, covering a wide range of reasons for having treatments. I am always inspired by clients and their varied responses to Shiatsu and this inspiration I bring to my teaching, both at the College and in my own workshops. I also practice at the Norwich Shiatsu Centre, in the city centre."

Now I see only her, no-one else.
Sara’s tender touch, firm but never fierce, her gentle tap-tap-tap and her remarkably relaxing cranio-sacral therapy work like magic for me. Time after time, month after month, year after year. More than once I’ve almost fallen asleep on her table. Yes, that’s how gentle she is.
There’s an old Irish term, anam cara. It means ‘soul friend’. Sara’s my back friend, the best friend my back has ever had. She takes great care as she cares for it. Though her name rhymes with Lara, I call her ‘Sara the Carer’. She and her holistic colleagues are the hidden angels of Holt. They deserve to be better known. Bless you, dear Sara, for your gentle healing hands!"
