About
I completed my MSc degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Essex, graduating in 2020, having first completed a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science in 2018.
Following this, I returned to Norfolk working within the acute setting at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn. During this time, I worked within Orthopaedics; specialising in rehab following hip, knee and spinal surgery. Elderly Medicine; across each of the medical and frailty wards , treating neurological disorders, and other general medical conditions. Surgery and Intensive care; Treating acute respiratory, post-surgery, amputee rehabilitation and within intensive/critical care.
The acute setting has enabled development as a physiotherapist, gaining an understanding on a number of physiological conditions impacting everyday life, including treating both acute and chronic conditions. From this, I built an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, developing treatment methods with the focus on improving quality of life.
I have undertaken training in a range of techniques including massage and manual therapy, postural alignment, joint and soft tissue mobilisations, acupuncture, and developed programmes for exercised based rehab alongside the introduction of self-management techniques.
I now work within the community, working three days a week as a community physiotherapist, and two days a week in clinic at the Holt Holistic Centre.

Now I see only her, no-one else.
Sara’s tender touch, firm but never fierce, her gentle tap-tap-tap and her remarkably relaxing cranio-sacral therapy work like magic for me. Time after time, month after month, year after year. More than once I’ve almost fallen asleep on her table. Yes, that’s how gentle she is.
There’s an old Irish term, anam cara. It means ‘soul friend’. Sara’s my back friend, the best friend my back has ever had. She takes great care as she cares for it. Though her name rhymes with Lara, I call her ‘Sara the Carer’. She and her holistic colleagues are the hidden angels of Holt. They deserve to be better known. Bless you, dear Sara, for your gentle healing hands!"
