Now I see only her, no-one else.
Sara’s tender touch, firm but never fierce, her gentle tap-tap-tap and her remarkably relaxing cranio-sacral therapy work like magic for me. Time after time, month after month, year after year. More than once I’ve almost fallen asleep on her table. Yes, that’s how gentle she is.
There’s an old Irish term, anam cara. It means ‘soul friend’. Sara’s my back friend, the best friend my back has ever had. She takes great care as she cares for it. Though her name rhymes with Lara, I call her ‘Sara the Carer’. She and her holistic colleagues are the hidden angels of Holt. They deserve to be better known. Bless you, dear Sara, for your gentle healing hands!"
